The cat story... or the kidling story?
I did! But I had to go looking for it. :) alan@cs.pdx.edu is my real email, yahoo is just backup for emergencies and stuff. (They put in some awful Mac at the station last week and no offense to Mac lovers, but they're awful. So I had to use email.)
I have no idea whether I'd like to go to the zoo! *looks at the website*
On the plus side, its website is zoo.org and it has this: Mystery Box at Zoomazium Go on a scavenger hunt to find new things. Play a fun game. You'll also get to touch or see a live animal up-close.
so... let's say yes! I'd rather do it Wednesday than Thursday - I think Thursday I just want to wander around downtown and sleep in and be cozy and stuff.
Okay, I'll let him know. Now delete these comments so he doesn't see them. ;D
I'm guessing he doesn't dig into my journal all that deeply. :)
okay, i have the newses.
im staying at e. harvard and e. denny, almost two miles from key arena. i wish i were bringing my bike. so close then!
omg
i totally forgot about the mystery box :(
They put in some awful Mac at the station last week and no offense to Mac lovers, but they're awful.
You just need to be taught how to properly use it. Macs are love!!
I used a Mac in the early 90s and I loved it... but it's been so long, that I think I've completely lost the feeling.
Also, the Mac in question apparently *is* from the early 90s. Slower than a sloth in molasses.
Thanks. I want to tell you I appreciate your lj posts, as I've been wondering lately whether and when I'm going to become a more participative (is that a word?) Jew. That thought seems especially keen lately; last month after my father died, he appeared in a dream and, in urging me to mourn well, essentially told me to 'go find some Jews.' In the dream I knew exactly what he meant, but now (awake) I'm not so sure I do. Anyway, it's nice to hear other people's rumblings and experiences with the faith, and the community.
Your cat is a slippery little bugger. I'm glad he's home.
A boyfriend and a girlfriend? How progressive!
Maybe Freud was right about the inherent bisexuality of children (did he say that or did I just make that up?).
The only thing is, the cat still smells like motor oil and various cleaning solvents. Yuk.
I'm not sure. I think Freud was an idiot.
I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to get hold of him again, but when isn't Dawn dish detergent (or one of the others) used on animals in oil spill zones because it's gentle and effective? Just a thought.
I think washing a seagull must probably be an entirely different story than washing a cat. I am covered in scratches, from my cheeks to my stomach!
I wonder if some sort of pet grooming place might not have done a better job.
I may have to find him some kitty cologne.
...and Freud? He certainly gave us all some things to think about. Why do you think he was an idiot?
children + internets = total filth.

welcome home fancy cat!
an acquaintance of mine from laguna tribe told me recently that when her son came home to the rez from film school in washington state he outed himself and said the same to her as your restaurant friend did. . .*you should get me a boyfriend*. so she hooked him up with a guy she thought would be compatible and they've been together for five years since.
*sappy spring story sighs*
I, uh, am tempted to start telling people the same damn thing. (ie, 'you should get me a boyfriend')
are you interested in the kitchen sink at all (thursday night)?
